The remains of a missing man were uncovered months after local authorities set out on several searches for the 68-year-old, according to the Cherry Hill Police Department.
A New Jersey hunter found human skeletal remains in the Waterford section of Wharton State Forest on Oct. 4. Authorities later identified the remains as 68-year-old Peter Meyers, a Cherry Hill man whose family reported missing in June. A cause of death has not yet been determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
