Hule/Arkadianou Fall in NCAA Round of 32

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) - Petra Hule and Anna Arkadianou of Florida State Women's Tennis bowed out of the NCAA Doubles Championship on Tuesday night, falling to Janice Tjen and Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine, 2-6, 3-6, in Champaign, Ill. The duo faced a tough group in the Pepperdine pair. Tjen/Broadus created several unforced errors by the Seminoles, who gained some momentum toward the end of the second set by winning two games in a row before eventually falling. Hule/Arkadianou finish the spring season 10-8 overall, exiting in the round of 32. Hule finishes her FSU career with 202 career wins in singles and doubles play combined, including a record-tying 106 wins in doubles play. Arkadianou, just a sophomore, has a chance to anchor next year's team as she gained valuable experience on FSU's No. 1 doubles tandem while being a No. 2/3 player in singles play.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – As the Florida State Women’s Tennis Team gets set to play Florida International on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Championships at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex at the University of Florida, junior Vic Allen is building quite a legacy. She’s a member of two NCAA Championship teams, earned All-American Honors from the ITA for her doubles play in 2020 and is among the top 20 in school history for doubles winning percentage.  She’s also one of four players in school history with multiple winning streaks in singles play of 10 matches or more. Allen is not only successful on the tennis court, but in the classroom as well. Hule and Arkadianou to Play In NCAA Doubles And Singles Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Florida State senior Petra Hule has been selected as the No. 3 seed in the singles championship, while Hule and sophomore Anna Arkadianou have been chosen to play in the doubles championship of the NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship. Hule's No. 3 seed is the highest in schhol history in the NCAA Singles Championship. The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Illinois, after the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 20-22. The Seminoles were selected on Monday to play in the team championship and will face Florida Atlantic on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gainesville Regional at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex at the University of Florida. The winner of Saturday’s match between the Seminoles and the Panthers will face the winner of Saturday’s match between Florida and South Alabama on Sunday at 1:00 pm. Hule, who owns an incredible 21-1 reco
