FAIRPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) With one festival behind us this season, Fairport Canal Days will be the second major in-person festival the Rochester area has seen since 2019. Organizers say they learned a lot from the Lilac Festival, and they expect Canal Days to feel similar to the Lilac Festival in terms of volume and vendors. I couldn t be happier to be here with the festival organizers to welcome back the 44th annual Fairport Canal Days and really urge this community to get vaccinated, said County Executive Adam Bello at a press conference Friday morning.
