partisan and because he didn t endorse a candidate he certainly gave support to lots of different candidates but he was able to also keep certain distance and stay above the fray and that is why, i think, politicians from both sides sought his advice. rick: i read earlier that his son bring asked him what he wanted his to come to stay and he said simply and thought about it and he said the preacher and that is what his tombstone will say, the preacher. i love it. he stayed true to who he was that he was a preacher of, not his own message, but the gospel. rick: father, i learned he will be buried in a plywood coffin made by inmates at a louisiana prison. that s right. he really did care about the most needy and cared about living the gospel mandates for us to go out and take care of and for us to visit the incarcerated.
