Three of the convicts Fakhruddin Raji, Abul Khayer and Naimuddin are absconding, the public prosecutor added.
On August 17, 2005, JMB carried out bomb attacks in Satkhira city s Shaheed Razzak Park, District Court yard, Women and Children s Court yard, bus terminal and Khulna Moar as well as in 62 other districts.
Satkhira police filed five cases in this connection the same year. Later in 2007, Golam Mohammad, the then officer-in-charge of Satkhira Sadar Police Station, filed another case in this connection.
The court, however, has acquitted the 23 accused in the case filed by Golam Mohammad in 2007, the public prosecutor also said.
