The bird was between two power lines and if it flapped in the wrong direction, it risked becoming electrocuted, so Eversource was brought into the rescue efforts.
The 2022 SamJam Music and Brewfest will start at noon Sept. 24 at the Macoupin County Fairgrounds north of Carlinville. The event will feature everything from rhythm and blues to country and rock and roll, jazz and American folk.
