Mumbai city on Monday reported new COVID-19 cases below 900 even though concern rises over the spike. Though the new cases dropped to 855, the number crossed the 1,000 mark four times last week. On a positive note, the city also saw a recovery of 876 people. Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Party Chief, Sharad Pawar was administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Monday as India commenced its third phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive to inoculate people above 60 years and those over 45 with comorbidities.
