The streaming giant s latest true crime offering is another look at a mysterious case. Murder by the Coast, released on June 23, is a Spanish-language documentary that looks to the shocking murders of 17-year-old Sonia Carabantes and 19-year-old Rocío Wanninkhof.
Taking us to Spain in 1999, when the case originally unfolded, viewers see how Wanninkhof s case received widespread (and scandalous) media coverage, due to the the case being steeped in homophobic attitudes from the time.
