A Delhi Court has granted bail to Deep Sidhu, accused in the Red Fort Violence case in connection with he violence that broke out during the farmer s tractor rally on Republic Day.
Additional Sessions Judge Neelofer Abida Perveen granted bail to Sidhu subject to his furnishing personal bond with two local sureties in the sum of Rs. 30,000/- each to the satisfaction of the Court.
Furthermore, the Court has granted bail on the following conditions:
- He shall deposit his passport with the IO.
- He shall mention the mobile phone number to be used by him.

A Delhi court has granted bail to actor-activist Deep Sidhu, who was arrested in connection with the Red Fort violence on Republic Day.

New Delhi: A Delhi court has granted bail to actor-activist Deep Sidhu, who was arrested in connection with the Red Fort violence on Republic Day.
Special Judge Neelofer Abida Perveen granted the relief to the accused on Friday on a personal bond of Rs 30,000 and two sureties of a like amount.

Sidhu was arrested on February 9 in connection with the Red Fort violence on January 26 during a farmers tractor parade against the Centre s three new agriculture laws.
The Delhi Police s Crime Branch arrested actor-activist Deep Sidhu on Saturday in connection with an FIR lodged by the Archaeological Survey of India for allegedly damaging public property during the farmers tractor parade violence on Republic Day at Red Fort, officials said.

Hours after Delhi Court granted bail to Deep Sidhu in connection with the Red Fort violence case, he has been rearrested on Saturday in an FIR lodged on the complaint filed by Archaeological Survey of India alleging damage to the historic monument and vandalism by rioters.
The said FIR has been registered under
sec. 147, 148, 149, 153, 452, 34 of IPC along with sec. 25, 27 of Arms Act, Sec. 3, 4 of PDPP Act, Sec. 2 of Prevention of Insults to National Honours Act and Sec. 30A, 30B of Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act.
