RENOVO A public plea by the Renovo Council of Churches saw area parishioners not only meet the request but come through three-fold as again the Bucktail Medical Center is able to see through fundraising just what the hospital means to the community. The council asked area churches to help and try to raise $2,500 and they would match the donation, getting a $5,000 check to the BMC as the small rural center has faced even more uncertain times over the past year.

The Renovo Good Neighbor Center on behalf of the Renovo Council of Churches helped to feed 68 households at their last distribution day as they again manage to make an impact helping those in need of the service. Renovo has been fortunate to have been assisted by several suck entities since the start of the Covid Pandemic but this distribution on behalf of the council of churches has been a monthly staple for years. John Tarantella stands at the ready next to one of the tables full of food before carrying a bag out to the next car that pulls up as they provide social distancing for anyone that stops by to pick up a food box.
