Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, just a few words of welcome today. Im tom blanton. Im director of the National Security archive at George Washington university and honored to be one of the organizers of today. This is the day, 25 years ago, that president george h. W. Bush signed the nunnlugar legislation into law. Now, being document fetishists, we scanned the bush library for the photographs of that extraordinary moment, and none exist. And what question would you most like to ask of your opponent . Vice pres. Bush i have none i would like to ask of her, but i would like to use the time. Let me put it this way, i do not have any questions. From the different cartermondale administration that the American People have the clearest choice. It is back to going to the failed ideas of the past. Inflation, despair, no leadership. Blaming the American People for failed leadership. Or another option. Keeping the recovery going into a benefits everybody. Prosperity, opportunity. I would like to hear her talk on those things, but i think the yellow light is flashing and we will leave it there. Nothing of the world series . [laughter] i think the comment on the cartermondale administration is typical. Im also tickled by the comments on human rights.
