Art, literature, politics and history come together once again this September at the Kennedy Summer School in New Ross, Wexford.
American and Irish academics, writers and policy experts will converge to look back on and look ahead to some of the key issues in the American-Irish relationship.
On Thursday, September 8, the proceedings will kick off with an opening address from U.S. Ambassador to Ireland Kevin O’Malley, as well as a keynote address by Prof. Robert Dowling. Dowling is the leading U.S. academic on the work of Irish American playwright Eugene O’Neill and the author, most recently, of Eugene O’Neill: A Life in Four Acts. Finally, comedian Paddy Cullivan (The Late Late Show) will offer a unique perspective on some of the more offbeat stories from the 1916 Easter Rising.

Singular has announced the appointment of Phillip Pistauer as its new head of account management.
Pistauer, who has has seven years of experience in the online casino industry, has joined the singular commercial team in Malta and is responsible for coordinating with existing clients and new acquisitions to build a proactive service that will help both the company and its partners to reach new heights. Singular’s intricate and highly professional platform and services, in combination with the new strategic approach to account management, is going to result in even more effective utilisation of Singular solutions and higher customer success.

Pistauer’s appointment forms a part of Singular’s strategic enhancement of its Customer Relationship Management division, with his role expected to deliver ‘a bespoke approach tailored to each client’.
Pistauer’s addition to the Account Management team, Singular explained, will provide the long-term direction for proactively addressing the unique market challenges posed by an increasing number of regulations across a multitude of jurisdictions.
“I am excited to have joined Singular, a company with a strong technical background and industry experience looking to expand further in the casino and sports betting world,” said Pistauer as he celebrated his new role.
