Wycombe Wanderers have been relegated from the Championship despite beating Middlesbrough 3-0 at the Riverside. Wanderers started the game knowing they needed a 13-0 win as well as other results going their way for a chance to avoid the drop. Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, and Rotherham all picked up a point meaning Wycombe finished the season in 22nd just one point from safety. FT: A great win on the final day of the season but the Chairboy s relegation from the Championship is now confirmed. Dominic Gape (Prime Media) Gareth Ainsworth confirmed Wycombe will be without midfielder Dominic Gape for this weekend’s clash against Luton Town. The Hatters travel to Adams Park after the Chairboys have won back-to-back league games for only the second time this season. Gape was stretchered off in the Easter Friday win against Blackburn Rovers and his manager confirmed he will still be sidelined for this weekend. Ainsworth said: Dominic Gape will probably be out for the Luton but there are a lot of other players really close to coming out of the treatment room. “We have a pretty strong squad for Luton so I am really pleased about that.”
