A lot of people that were able to make it in to the city or to hoboken for work this morning are now wondering how theyll get home. We have roads submerged in water here in hoboken. If i step out in the street, the water gets deeper. Weve been here all day. The water has not receded much at all. Its one of those days that you cant get around hoboken by car. On May 23, 2021, the Russellville Police Department responded to an accident with injuries on 68-80 East near Kirby Funeral Services.
Ronnie Carr, of Bowling Green, was traveling eastbound on 68-80 when his Volvo sedan crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an SUV driven by Jacob Bostick, also of Bowling Green.
An open container was found inside Carrâs vehicle. The collision is still under investigation.
Carr was transported by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Bostick was taken by Logan County EMS to Logan Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in Bostickâs vehicle was not injured.
A man was flown to a Nashville hospital following a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Russellville.
It happened about 2:20 p.m. and Russellville police say Ronnie Carr of Bowling Green was eastbound on US 68 in the area of Kirby’s Funeral Home when his car crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an SUV operated by Jacob Bostick of Bowling Green.
Police say an open container of alcohol was found in the vehicle operated by Carr, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
