Israeli settlers injure two Palestinians, vandalize property in West Bank attacks Israeli settlers injure two Palestinians, vandalize property in West Bank attacks RAMALLAH, Thursday, May 13, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Wednesday evening injured two Palestinians and vandalized Palestinian property in a wave of attacks across the West Bank, according to local activists. Coordinator of the Protection and Steadfastness Committee in Masafer Yatta, Fuad al-Amour, said that a group of settlers, protected by soldiers, assaulted a father and his son with sticks and stones near Ma‘in village, east of the southern West Bank city of Yatta, inflicting bruises across their bodies.   In Jerusalem district, a group of Israeli settlers sneaked their way near the entrance of Nabi Samuel village, northwest of the city, where they destroyed and torched a car wash belonging to Anas Obeid.

Former lawmaker among 15 Palestinians detained from West Bank RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained 15 Palestinians, mostly in overnight raids across the West Bank, according to security sources and witness. They said that Israeli forces rounded up a Palestinian after ransacking his house in Qaddura refugee camp, located just outside the city of Ramallah. They also detained another after breaking into his house in Dura al-Qar‘ village, north of the city. Israeli military vehicles also forced their way into Silwad town, northeast of the city, where soldiers rounded up three others. In the northern West Bank, the sources confirmed that four Palestinians were detained in multiple raids across Nablus district.

(File photo) JERUSALEM, Saturday, December 19, 2020 (WAFA) - In November, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished, forced people to demolish, or seized 178 Palestinian-owned structures across the West Bank: this is the highest such figure in a single month since the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs /OCHA/ in the occupied Palestinian territory began systematically documenting this practice in 2009. This month’s incidents resulted in the displacement of 158 people and otherwise affected the livelihoods or access to services of over 1,000 others, said OCHA in its monthly report on West Bank Demolitions and Displacement.
