Torture Case: Verdict to be Announced 17 June The verdict in the Torture case, which concerns the arrest of United for Macedonia President Ljube Boskoski in June 2011, will be announced on 17 June. Among the defendants in the case is former Security and Counter-Intelligence Administration Director Saso Mijalkov. During Monday’s closing arguments, the defence said it was the Ministry’s Public Security Bureau, not the Administration, that had organised and conducted the detaining. They added that they would file a no-confidence motion against Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi because he had not accepted their list of speakers. The Parliament Speaker responded by saying that the submission had been belated.
