It is basically all snow up across the mountains. Couple inches yesterday, so your temperatures super cold, just snow up there. But it is snowing. Now you get south of there, lenoir, morganton looks like snow. A lot of this may not be reaching the ground yet, as the air underneath is very, very dry, that is more than likely the case in the metro area. However, we did get a couple reports of snow around lincolnton area, but it would be snow, sleet, freezing rain early this morning but very spotty. Simply because the larger storm system is well up to the north and west of us so it may take time to fill in, it probably will, unless we get a lot of precipitation, probably wont be too bad on the commute this morning. Doesnt take only takes a little ice to create problems. Use caution if you are venturing out this morning.
