Here is the throwback: In the morning of March 9, 2021, Sawang Calero Police Station’s drug enforcement unit, lef by Staff Sgt. Celso Colita, reportedly implemented a search warrant on one Ritchie Nepomuceno supposedly for involvement in illegal drug activities and unlicensed firearm. Nepomuceno was arrested in her house in Tungkil, Minglanilla, and was reportedly brought to the Sawang Calero station. Nepomuceno later said she was placed in a room inside the precinct. At around 1 p.m. of March 10, Colita’s group allegedly brought her to an automated teller machine and she was forced to withdraw P170,000. Cebu City (CNN Philippines, April 20) A police officer being investigated for alleged rape and extortion took his own life on Monday, hours after his female accuser was fatally shot in Cebu City.
Ritchie Nepomuceno accused Police Staff Sergeant Celso Colita of raping her twice in a Cebu City motel in March.
She also filed criminal complaints against Colita and 10 other police officers assigned to the Sawang Calero Police precinct for extorting ₱170,000 from her.
The complainant also claimed the policemen tortured arrested suspects in a secret detention cell inside the precinct.
