KUWAIT CITY, May 6: MP Hassan Jawhar asked Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali and to Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Nazaha Enhancement Abdullah Al-Rumi about the rumors spread on social media and other media platforms that the Amiri Diwan sent a letter to the Judicial Committee at the Ministries Court stating HH the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was aware of the suspicious remittances mentioned in the Kuwait Army Fund lawsuit involving former Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak and other senior officials.

Kuwait s Ministerial Court yesterday ordered the pretrial detention of former Prime Minister, Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, over the alleged mishandling of military funds, local media reported.

Agency reported a Kuwaiti legal source as saying that the court has ordered the imprisonment of Jaber Al-Sabah, who appeared before it today, in the case of the Army Fund.
According to the source, the court also refused to release former Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah along with two army officials imprisoned in the same case.
