Decision Time is creating 13 new jobs in software development, sales, customer service, HR and marketing. The new jobs are being created as part of an investment of almost £600,000 in the business.
Invest NI has supported the creation of 10 of the roles with an offer of support of £75,000. This will increase the company’s headcount from 17 at the beginning of this year to 30 by the end of 2021, with further recruitment expected in 2022.
Founded by Geoff and Sinead Higgins, Decision Time specialises in platform management software.
Decision Time’s customers include NHS Trusts, large universities, over 60 housing associations in England, Scotland and Wales, 40 percent of the Republic of Ireland’s public sector bodies, and major Northern Ireland organisations such as Tourism NI and Translink.
Antrim-headquartered Decision Time expanded its presence in Scotland with a new agreement.
The governance software specialist has secured a contract with Link Group, which will be the 20th housing association in Scotland to use Decision Time's suite of technology.
Decision Time was founded by Northern Ireland entrepreneurs Geoff and Sinead Higgins. In the last two years it has more than doubled its customer base and is targeting revenues of more than £5m in 2023.
Geoff, who is chief executive of Decision Time, said: "Housing associations are responsible for providing a high standard of service and accommodation for thousands of tenants, meaning effective corporate governance is absolutely critical given the potential for ineffective practices to have far-reaching implications on the organisation and those renting social accommodation."
Mr McAliskey is to advise Decision Time on how to achieve its ambitions for further growth.
He was co-founder and managing director of Belfast-based Novosco, which grew to become one of the top IT service providers in the UK. It was sold to German firm CANCOM in October 2019.
Decision Time, based in Antrim, provides software which helps organisations maintain good governance by running effective meetings, managing risk and monitoring their strategic performance.
Customers include NHS trusts, universities, housing associations, non-departmental public bodies and public sector bodies in the Republic and in Northern Ireland.
Here, its software is used by Tourism NI, Translink and Invest NI.
