'Friend' killed Karnataka teacher after inviting her to celebrate his birthday: Police

Police probing the murder of a 28-year-old schoolteacher in Karnataka’s Mandya district have arrested a 22-year-old man who they said had been in a relationship with her for a couple of years. Deepika V Lokesh had been missing since January 20 and her body was found in the foothills of Melukote on Monday.
