Free health check-ups for older persons were also conducted and medicines were distributed free of costs by the District Health Society Kakching on International Day of Older Persons 2022.
Our Correspondent Imphal, Nov. 11 (EMN): Manipur’s outer Lok Sabha MP Dr. Lorho S Pfoze launched Pallel Gram Panchayat as Adarsh Gram (model village) in Kakching district under Sanshad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY). The launching programme was organised by the district administration, Kakching at Pallel Maning community hall, Pallel Gram Panchayat, Kakching district on November 9. A foundation stone of Pallel Model Gram Panchayat under SAGY was also inaugurated by the MP. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Lorho said that for successful implementation of model village under SAGY, active participation of people of the area is a must. They must contribute their good gesture in respect of hospitality, ways of approach, sanitation etc. Those residing within the model villages should be an example to others. He also announced to contribute INR 10 lakh as the first phase for development of the model village. Pallel Gram Panchayat Model village includes three villages, Sora, Pallel and Bijoypur. As
