A mass of several hundred migrants showed up hoping to get into the United States after rumors were spreading that the border would be opened up. Cbp responded and deployed razor wire and personnel in the middle of the bridge to block it. Were told nobody ended up getting through. Texas dps points out that when the federal government deploys razor wire to repel crossings there is no outrage. When texas does it there is accusations of cruelty and ba barberism.
