Split Lake Fire Department members and community residents are searching for Catherine Dumas, 42, who may be disoriented and was last seen April 27.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested after an incident on Wednesday in Thompson that involved three people being assaulted.

Bystanders helped a Thompson RCMP officer who was assaulted by a suspect during the course of an arrest on April 26.

Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from the area, 27-year-old Ranston (Randy) Dick.

Police say it is believed he posted a message to social media on April, 8 stating that he was ok but he has not been seen in person and his current whereabouts are unknown.
