Meeting the challenge. Eye-roll of the month was surely the Biden Administration telling us that the invasion of our country from the south is not a crisis, merely a
challenge.
When the managerial class tell us that something or other is a
challenge, you can be sure it's a disaster caused by their own crackpot policies. I covered this in Chapter 2 of my spacetime-bending 2009 bestseller
That was when I had just gotten through tossing and goring political scientist Robert Putnam's pimping for "diversity" in the teeth of all the evidence of his own researches. Then:
Professor Putnam tells us in his Uppsala paper that: "[T]his article is but a prolegomenon to a larger project on how to manage the challenge that immigration and diversity pose to social capital and solidarity."

ST. MARTIN, Miss. (WLOX) - The Ocean Springs Greyhound Lacrosse team laced their cleats to help raise money for veterans in need.
The Greyhounds hosted a fundraiser game on Friday night at the St. Martin Sports Complex against Lower Alabama Lacrosse from Daphne, Ala.
All the proceeds raised will benefit Crusaders for Veterans, a nonprofit that helps veterans on the Mississippi Gulf Coast through various efforts, including helping repair the homes of disabled veterans, hosting food drives to help feed veterans, placing wreaths on the graves of fallen service members, and providing various other supports for our men and women who have served.
GARRETT â St. Martinâs Healthcare is inviting the community to enjoy tea at home while supporting the agency with gifts of any size.
Each year the clinic hosts its Annual Circle of Friends Tea. After thoughtful discussion and consideration, St. Martinâs determined that with current guidelines and an inability to predict what might take place in the coming weeks, it would be impossible to host the tea in the way to which guests are accustomed.
Past tea guests and partners have been contacted by letters in the mail to express the organizersâ disappointment, but also their hope for a new giving opportunity.

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Come Sunday, March 14, the Fort Bayou bridge that connects the St. Martin community into downtown Ocean Springs will be closing temporarily. Businesses in the area are worried things may slow down for them.
“That’s a very big trafficking area that we get our fuels into vicinity here, so I don’t think it’s going to be a positive thing at all given that’s a bridge a lot of our customers use,” said Cadeem Brown, co-owner of CB’s Jamaican Jerk.
