"Further North is Morecambe Bay, one of our traditional seaside resorts, but all along the bay there are some lovely little beaches you can discover and on the other side on the north sea my favourite beach there is Seaham in County Durham.
"Now, it used to be about the most industrialised place in Europe.
"There were coal mines running out under the sea but now it is just an absolutely lovely place to get a beautiful escape and not the crowds you would find in other resorts perhaps further south in Yorkshire."
While many Britons are preparing for their summer staycation, the Prime Minister has warned restrictions will only be lifted if the data on Covid cases "satisfies" the Government's tests.
Hoseasons
Hoseasons has set out a number of reopening dates depending on which park guests are planning to visit.
In England, parks are not anticipated to open before March 8.
In Wales, parks are likely to remain closed until February 19 at the earliest, and in Scotland until March 1 at the earliest.
All customers impacted by cancellations will be contacted by Hoseasons to discuss their options.
This includes the choice of either a refund or a voucher of the amount paid for the booking.
CoolCamping
CoolCamping allows customers to book camping, glamping and caravan holidays from a number of independent providers through its platform.

Under the current national lockdown in the UK, holidays are off the cards. However, there is little sign from the Government as to when international travel restrictions will end, causing concern for some in the industry.
HOLIDAYS may be on hold for now amid lockdown regulations and the latest travel corridor suspensions, however, one expert claims this won't stop overseas travel from returning as soon as May. When might staycations, short-haul and long-haul travels return?
As of Monday morning, new travel rules came into practice which makes jetting off even more difficult.
Only those who are travelling for “essential” purposes are permitted to do so.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has put a stop to all travel corridors, meaning arrivals into the UK must quarantine for a period of 10 days regardless of where they are travelling from.
They must also provide a negative coronavirus test which meets certain “specificity rules”.
