Kajol, who was last seen in the web series, ‘The Trial’ recently opened up on what made her say yes to the role. She said that she first wanted to hear the adaptation. “As Suparn Varma (creator of the show) mentioned, The Good Wife is a Western concept set in a Western world, and it had to be adapted to India, our sentiments, our society and our culture. And when you add all of this, does the show lose its zing, or does it become too emotional? So all those things had to be considered, and once it was done, I agreed to it.”
