voting for a resolution to hold the taliban to their word on maintaining peace and safe passage to those who wish to exit the country. do you think the taliban care? you know, i think that the taliban might care. it s hard to predict what they are thinking right now. it s more than just one group that we re talking about. we think of the guys in doha that made the deal with the americans and ones that america has trusted in this endeavor. we have to remember there are various groups. there is infighting right now within the taliban of who will control kabul and who will be in government and who will be in charge of everything, what vision they have for the future of afghanistan. some talk about having a progressive mindset compared to the last rgime and it s still very backwards for what the afghan people for the most part especially in cities would like and even in the districts.
