CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government that on Saturday announced extension of lockdown till June 14 said that the already permitted activities would continue in all the districts. It also announced new relaxations, which would come into effect on June 7.
What is open in all districts
Standalone grocery, vegetable, meat and fish stalls will be allowed between 6am and 5pm in all districts.
Sale of vegetables, fruits and flowers on the road-side footpath will be permitted between 6am and 5pm.
Wholesale fish markets will be allowed and the district administration should look for alternate arrangements to set up markets in open spaces in one or more places to ensure social distancing in the markets.

CHENNAI: The new lockdown relaxations announced by the Tamil Nadu government on Saturday do not include Tasmac liquor shops and bars.
The government has extended the lockdown till June 14.
The state owned liquor outlets have been remaining shut since May 10 when the government implemented the total lockdown to control the spread of Covid-19.
There is no home delivery of liquor in Tamil Nadu.
