After a two-year pandemic caused hiatus, organisers are finally bringing the Taste of the Cape back to East London in May. The inaugural event, which took place in August 2019, saw more than 30 wineries and six gin brands represented and was a hit among many East Londoners. In 2022, organisers have brought the focus back onto the wines and have even extended the programme to include smaller wine and food pairing events at some of East London’s foodie establishments.
