Finding long-term answer at center a top priority for Rams
With a deep pool of talent at OL, L.A. has plenty of options

Give Los Angeles Rams GM Les Snead some credit.
Snead and the rest of his scouting department likely anticipated this year’s draft class would have a deep pool of talent at offensive line, aligning with the team’s top need this offseason.
So, the fact that the Rams do not have a first round selection in this year’s draft does not prohibit them from filling their most obvious need on an already talented roster this week.

A need for the Los Angeles Rams this offseason shot up the priority list when unrestricted free agent Austin Blythe signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday.
Rams head coach Sean McVay had said that he would like to bring Blythe back, but every move has a price tag. Ultimately, it appears the Rams believed they have answers to the center position already on the roster, or will pursue a replacement through the draft or free agency.

With the salary cap set at $182.5 million and the Los Angeles Rams carrying over $4.6 million from last year, L.A. remains roughly $31 million over an adjusted salary cap of $187.1 million for the start of the new league year on March 17.
At this juncture, the Rams have the largest deficit in the NFL to get under the salary cap by next week.
So, Rams GM Les Snead, COO Kevin Demoff, salary cap specialist Tony Pastoors and the rest of personnel department will have some tough decisions to make.

But after a career-best season, the Rams will certainly face competition when Floyd tests the market. He tallied a career-best 10.5 sacks last season.
INSIDE LINEBACKER
UFA: none
Game plan: All inside linebackers remain under contract, with Travin Howard an exclusive rights free agent. Kiser, who was sidelined for five games last season because of a knee injury, is expected to remain a starter alongside Young.
CORNERBACK
UFA: Troy Hill
Game plan: After intercepting three passes and scoring three defensive touchdowns last season, Hill proved himself as a playmaker and will test the market. The Rams will closely monitor Hill's situation in attempt to re-sign him. Darious Williams, a restricted free agent, is likely to be retained, while Long will be expected to step in if Hill departs.

Both Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead emphasized scoring more points and getting more explosive on the offensive side of the football this offseason.
So it makes sense to focus on some of the playmakers involved in Saturday’s Senior Bowl, the annual college All-Star game hosted in Mobile, Ala.
And there’s a lot of playmakers to choose from, including smaller, twitchy athletes with quick burst and some long striders with deep speed.
