Boissevain School goes to remote learning

Brandon Sun By: Kyle Darbyson Advertisement Students of Boissevain School will be learning from home until at least Friday this week after three COVID-19 cases were recently linked to the K-12 institution. Turtle Mountain School Division Supt. Tim De Ruyck told the Sun on Monday that he was made aware of the first COVID case on March 27, with the remaining two cases coming to his attention over the next couple of days. Even though in-person classes wouldn’t resume for another week due to spring break, Manitoba Public Health and Manitoba Education told De Ruyck that his best course of action would be to institute remote learning for all Boissevain School students from this Monday until at least Friday.
