(WSFA) - A reward is now being offered for information that helps police find a Tuskegee man who went missing nearly two weeks ago. Central Alabama CrimeStoppers said Monday that a $1,000 reward is being offered in the case of Marquez Duncan Jr., who was last seen by friends at his home on Feb. 23. Duncan, 22, is six feet tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing black gym shorts.

(WSFA) - Tuskegee police say a second suspect has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting that left a 4-year-old boy dead. Police said Emanuel Howard Jr., 18, of Tuskegee, has been charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and attempted murder. Investigators said the shooting happened on Feb. 13 around 5 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Pleasant Springs Drive. The victim, 4-year-old Davion Tarver, died.

Emanuel Howard Jr., 18, was taken into custody on Friday, charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and attempted murder. Another suspect, 18-year-old Joshua Washington, recently had his initial charges upgraded to capital murder for the same incident. Davion Tarver died after the Saturday shooting occurred two weeks ago in the 500 block of Pleasant Springs Drive.

Updated: 12:53 AM CST Feb 16, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital A charge against an Alabama teenager has been upgraded to capital murder after a child who was shot over the weekend died Monday.On Saturday, Tuskegee police found 4-year-old Davion Tarver suffering from a gunshot wound in the 500 block of Pleasant Springs Drive. Police say the child was taken to Children's of Alabama hospital for treatment, but he died on Monday morning.Police arrested 18-year-old Joshua Washington Sunday night and charged him with attempted murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied building or dwelling. Washington is in the Macon County Jail.After the child died, Washington's charge was upgraded to capital murder. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he had an attorney who could comment.

Police said the shooting happened at 5 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Street Apartments off Pleasant Springs Drive in Tuskegee. When officers arrived, they found the victim with a single gunshot wound. Tuskegee Police Chief Lloyd Jenkins said a stray bullet entered the child’s apartment complex, striking him in the head.

(WSFA) - The Tuskegee Police Department has opened an investigation after one person was killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night. Tuskegee Police Chief Loyd Jenkins said the vehicle was found shortly before 10 p.m. near the intersection of Macon County Road 65 and Greenwood Drive and was already engulfed in flames by the time first responders arrived. Units with the Tuskegee Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze at which time the driver’s body was found inside.

(WSFA) - Tuskegee police have arrested a suspect in connection to three armed robberies that occurred in the city over a 24-hour period. Timothy Demetrius Samuel Jr., 20, is charged with three counts of robbery. Police say the robberies occurred between Monday and Tuesday. Samuel was arrested in the city Tuesday afternoon. He is in the Macon County Detention Facility awaiting bond. Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
