Queen Sibongile Winifred Zulu from the KwaKhethomthandayo royal palace is challenging the matter of her husband’s will, saying that she is the only wife who married the late king in a civil marriage.
This as some members of the family do not recognise Misuzulu kaZwelithini as king, regardless of the Zulu nation's Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi saying he is the rightful heir to the throne.

DURBAN - Regent of the Zulu nation, Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu has been laid to rest.
The third wife of the late King Goodwill Zwelithini was interred during a private ceremony attended only by close members of the Zulu and Swati royal families in the early hours of Thursday morning.

JOHANNESBURG - The Zulu royal family has announced the late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu will be laid to rest on Thursday.
She passed away in a Johannesburg hospital last week, at the age of 65, just a month after she took over from her late husband King Goodwill Zwelithini.

DURBAN - Prime minister to the Zulu nation, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, has expressed concern about the public spats within the Zulu royal family following the passing of amaZulu King Goodwill Zwelithini and his third wife, Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
Buthelezi addressed the media on Monday afternoon at the Khangelamankengane Royal Palace in Nongoma, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

JOHANNESBURG - The KwaZulu-Natal government has requested The Presidency to declare a state funeral for the late amaZulu nation queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
Her death comes a month after she was appointed regent in accordance with the wishes of her late husband, King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu.
