Freiluft-Ausstellung "Almost" des Wien Museums ©APA "Almost" hieß ein Lockdown-Fotoprojekt des Architekturjournalisten und Publizisten Wojciech Czaja, das zunächst auf Facebook, Ende 2020 dann unter dem Titel "Almost. 100 Städte in Wien" als Buch in der Edition Korrespondenzen veröffentlicht wurde. In der Open-Air-Bauzaun-Ausstellung "Almost. Wiener Weltreisen" beim Wien Museum traten die Fotos in Dialog mit historischen Souvenirfotos von der Wiener Weltausstellung 1873. Nun werden sie zu Gunsten der VinziRast versteigert. Czaja startete sein Projekt im Frühjahr 2020. Auf seiner Vespa machte er sich auf zur Welterkundung innerhalb der Wiener Stadtgrenzen und fotografierte mit seinem Smartphone Stimmungen, Details, Gebäude oder ganze Ensembles, die an fremde Lokalitäten und ferne Metropolen erinnern: Jesolo am Schwedenplatz, Havanna am Praterstern, Alpbach in der Lobau und Konstantinopel im Böhmischen Prater.

ROME .-Ottocento Art Gallery is offering important masterpieces coming from several private collections gathered in the usual monthly exhibition aimed to the sale. The selection starts from an oil on canvas, made by Giuseppe Canella, Entrance of the Royal Gardens in Venice. In this painting, Castelli painted the view of Venice taken from the entrance to the Royal Gardens portraying Punta della Dogana and the Chiesa della Salute in the center of the painting while in the background on the left is visible the Basilica del Redentore on the Giudecca island.
