Father accused of abducting 5-month-old arrested
Christian Jackson, 24, was arrested Wednesday and is charged with felony abduction.
Police say Jackson does not have custody of his daughter and took her without permission. The incident prompted an Amber Alert over the weekend.
Lillian Armstrong, the girl s mother, has sole custody, according to court documents. She was charged in connection with the alleged abduction after investigators said she lied to officers who were trying to locate her daughter.
Armstrong, 20, is charged with child endangering and obstructing official business.
Police said Jackson has a history of domestic violence and has a protection order against him prohibiting him from having contact with the child or Armstrong.
