wildfire warnings continue. 13 active wildfires and 66,000 acres burned and fire weather outlook continue for parts of the southwest to the texas panhandle and toward oklahoma and that is ongoing because we have a drought situation that expands for the west into the plane states. wildfire danger continues. we have a front marching through the mississippi river valley and central u.s. behind it, colder than average temperatures for northern planes and midwest stretching to the great lakes. we have active storms pushing toward the plane states and great lakes and severe thunderstorm warnings in effect for south texas in toward parts of arkansas, where we have heavy flooding going on. flash flood watches and warnings posted throughout the day and
