Hulu has released the first trailer for “Plan B,” the latest movie from Liverpool-based American High. The Hulu Original Film premieres May 28 on the streaming service.
The teen comedy follows a straight-laced high school student (“The Big Sick” actress Kuhoo Verma) who, after a regrettable first sexual encounter, gets help from her slacker best friend (MTV’s “Teen Wolf” star Victoria Moroles) to search for a morning-after pill in America’s heartland after the local pharmacist (played by “Super Troopers” star Jay Chandrasekhar) refuses to give them Plan B. The cast also includes former “Saturday Night Live” star Rachel Dratch, “Speechless” actor Kyle Cook and “Insatiable” actor Michael Provost.

The daughter of late pop music legend Michael Jackson has been added to the cast of a new movie filming in the Syracuse area.
Hulu announced Monday that Paris Jackson has joined “Sex Appeal,” a teen sex comedy from Liverpool, N.Y.-based American High. The role follows the model-actress-singer’s appearances in 2018′s “Gringo,” Fox’s musical drama “Star,” and MTV’s “Scream” series.

Cameras are rolling on American High’s ninth feature-length film in the Syracuse area.
The Liverpool, N.Y.-based production company started shooting a new teen sex comedy called “Sex Appeal” on Wednesday. Production is expected to continue through the first week of April and include locations like the former A.V. Zogg Middle School (now Syracuse Studios) in Liverpool.
Talia Osteen, whose credits include the HBO documentary “Blindsided” and the award-winning short “The Shabbos Goy,” will direct the movie for the streaming service Hulu based on a script by Tate Hanyok.
