A Jamestown man is facing charges following a vehicle pursuit Wednesday.
New York state troopers spotted a vehicle believed to be involved in an accident on Falconer Street in Jamestown before leaving the scene. Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, which reportedly failed to comply.
The driver, later identified as 37-year-old Manuel Fernandez, led troopers down several streets throughout the city before pulling into a residence on Hoyt Alley.
Fernandez was taken into custody and transported to police barracks. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket for third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer as well as leaving the scene of a property damage accident from the Jamestown Police Department.
