This week s episode of
The Falcon And The Winter Soldier saw things jump up a notch, as one character made a fateful decision, and one character. well, you know.
And Team Empire is on hand to dig into the show once again, as Chris Hewitt, Helen O Hara, Ben Travis (eventually), and the returning James Dyer talk about twists, turns and much more besides. And a certain orchestra returns, in mournful mood.
Enjoy.

So far in
Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we’ve gotten a glimpse at what Captain America’s shield actually stands for, and it isn’t whatever John Walker is trying to sell the world. As many on Twitter have pointed out: What Steve Rogers represented with the shield is what America wants to be, while John Walker is what America actually is.
In a new trailer for the rest of the season, we get a look at both Sam and Bucky refusing to stand by whatever it is John Walker is trying to do, especially after what happened in “The Whole World is Watching.”
In this week s episode of "Falcon and the Winter Soldier," the show gets more complicated, continues to develop its villains and ends with a shocking turn of events.

Warning: SPOILERS for the latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are ahead!
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel fans familiar with U.S. Agent were certain the character was headed down a dark path. While Walker doesnât fully fall into the supervillain category in the comics, he is definitely an anti-hero whose methods are more brutal than Steve Rogersâ, so for a lot of people have been waiting for his Marvel Cinematic Universe counterpart to follow suit. That finally happened in the latest episode of
John Walker was already struggling with being the new Captain America in the previous episode of
Captain America: The Winter Soldier movie. Based principally on the Ed Brubaker and
Steve Epting, Brubaker wrote on his newsletter today about how he related to the films and the TV show. And, no, he s not happy.
Screencap: The Falcon And The Winter Soldier
Ed Brubaker describes the show as something I sadly have very mixed feelings about. I m really happy for Sebastian Stan, who I think is both a great guy and the perfect Bucky/Winter Soldier, and I m glad to see him getting more screen time finally. Also, Anthony Mackie is amazing as the Falcon, and everyone at Marvel Studios that I ve ever met (all the way up to Kevin Feige) have been nothing but kind to me…
