Government should remove the Public Service Grant provided to the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation and increase allocations to the Health, Education, Agriculture and Fisheries ministries in the 2021-2022 National Budget.
This was the view expressed by Opposition parliamentarian Tanya Waqanika during debate on FBC’s 2016-2017 consolidated annual reports in Parliament last Thursday.
“It will be interesting to see the budget allocation for FBC in the next financial year,” she said.
“Quite frankly, we do not expect any allocation to them for that matter because as they have all said, they have done extremely well.
