Three Marshall Residents Injured in Saline County Crash
Three Marshall residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday night in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1996 Honda Accord, driven by a 16-year-old juvenile, failed to stop at a stop sign on Missouri 240 (east of Marshall) and struck a westbound 2014 Jeep Patriot, driven by 62-year-old Karen A. Stevens of Marshall.
The Honda then crossed 240 and onto Marigold Avenue, off the road and into a ditch. The Jeep came to a controlled stop.
Stevens, as well as two female teenagers in the Honda, suffered minor injuries. All three were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by private vehicle, according to the report.
