Infront Lands Paralympics Media Rights Sponsor Spotlight 01/09/21
(ATR) The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) awards European media rights to the Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games to Infront.

The agreement reached this week covers 51 European territories excluding the UK for 2022 and the UK and France for 2024.
As part of the deal, the IPC said Infront Productions will work with Paralympic sport stakeholders in between the Games to maximize the storytelling potential of each event and provide athletes broader exposure.
“We are now one year in to arguably the most important decade yet for the Paralympic Movement, a decade whereby we want to unlock the potential of the Paralympic Games and do more to drive social inclusion for the world’s one billion persons with disabilities,” Andrew Parsons, IPC President, said in a statement.
Govt to set up special cyber team for FIs

The government is planning to introduce a specialised computer incident response team (CIRT) for banks and financial institutions to prevent and tackle cyber threats.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) has already started developing the specialised unit and is expecting to complete the task by 2021, said project director of BGD eGov CIRT, ICT Division Tarique M Barkatullah.
BGD e-GOV CIRT is serving as the national response team with responsibilities to receiving, reviewing, and responding to computer security incidents and activities in Bangladesh.
Talking to the Daily Sun, Tarique M Barkatullah said the financial and telecom sector need special responses as the type of cyber attacks and the security modules is changing rapidly.

Tech Mahindra today announced a professional services agreement with FIS to scale its enterprise payments and banking capabilities.
The company will acquire Payments Technology Services, a subsidiary of FIS, for $9 million as part of the agreement. Based in Asia, Payments Technology Services is a payments solutions provider focused on the banking and financial services industries.

Kelly Sildaru finished fifth in the Big Air qualification at the World Cup event held in Kreischberg, Austria, on Thursday and will compete in the finals on Friday evening.
The Estonian s first jump did not bring her much success, but her next two jumps brought her 82.40 and 76.60 points, respectively, raising her total to 159 points, enough for fifth in the qualification.
The qualification was dominated by Tess Ledeux with a total of 182.80 points. Ledeux was followed by Giulia Tanno (168.80 points), Mathilde Gremaud (164.80 points) and Johanne Killi (164.60 points) rounded out the top four.
