Attorney Keith Lamar Jr. explains why having a strong moral compass is key

A proud graduate of Morehouse College and Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Keith Lamar Jr. is among the top Black trial lawyers in the country. As the former president of the National Black Prosecutors Association, Lamar is a true leader, dynamic speaker and willing servant of the community. He exhibited as much since starting his own firm The Law Office of Keith Lamar Jr. after an eight-year stint as deputy district attorney for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in Georgia. Recently named one of the National Trial Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40,” Lamar shared why he enjoys representing the community.

Rayshawn Bennett aka YFN Lucci is among a dozen suspects indicted in a 75 page, 105 count racketeering indictment. The indictment is focused on factions with gang activity, particularly, the Bloods. The Fulton County District Attorney called the indictment unprecedented. Lucci is already facing an unrelated murder charge for which he was arrested back in January in a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded. No word on how much time Lucci is facing in either of these cases, and I m no attorney, but none of this look good for his career or freedom. We will continue to keep you updated on this story.

GLOVERSVILLE – The 19-year-old charged with conspiracy in the stabbing death a 15-year-old is accused of committing handed over the knife then used in the killing, according to police allegations filed in court.
Ja’Quah A. McCall, 19, of Albany, was charged Thursday by Gloversville Police with one count of first-degree conspiracy, a felony that carries a potential sentence upon conviction akin to a murder conviction.
The conspiracy charge against McCall followed the arrest earlier last week of a 15-year-old, who is accused directly in the death.
