Police: Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci, wanted in connection to deadly shooting, turns himself in

ATLANTA - Police say a well-known Atlanta rapper who was wanted on multiple charges related to a shooting death over the weekend, turned himself in Wednesday night.
Rayshawn Bennett, 29, who goes by the stage name YFN Lucci, was wanted for felony murder and aggravated assault among other charges in connection to the death of 28-year-old James Adams on December 10, 2020.
Atlanta police said Adams was found shot around 5:20 p.m. in the middle of the 900 block of Peeples Street SW. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where he later died.
Atlanta, GA – YFN Lucci is reportedly a wanted man. According to a tweet from CBS46 reporter Jasmina Alston on Tuesday evening (January 12), the ATL rapper is currently being investigated for his alleged involvement in an Atlanta shooting.
“Just in: Atlanta police are looking for 29-year-old Rayshawn Bennett aka YFN Lucci,” Alston wrote. “They say he’s wanted on multiple charges for his role in the shooting death of 28-year-old James Adams.”

Trump’s call could put the President in jeopardy, legal experts say
Experienced prosecutors, election lawyers and some public officials have piled on calling for criminal investigations into whether President Donald Trump broke election fraud laws when he pressured Georgia officials on a phone call Saturday to “find” 11,870 votes that would reverse his loss in the state.
While the path to a federal criminal case against the outgoing President isn’t an easy one to make, Georgia officials said the state could be considering a serious inquiry and the matter has already been referred to the FBI.
“If you look at the statutes, both the federal statutes and the Georgia state statutes, if you engage in some effort to solicit or procure election fraud, and you knowingly do that, that’s potentially a federal or state crime,” Preet Bharara, the former US attorney in Manhattan, said on CNN on Sunday.
