For the first time ever, the fireworks can also be seen virtually through year-end countdown community programmes that were organised by the People’s Association (PA). This will allow residents to still enjoy the festivities in a “safe way” while also at the comfort of their homes.
The fireworks will also be live-streamed and included in some of the 16 virtual engagements PA has organised for the New Year where the public can participate in games as well as watch live performances, as said on a media release on Dec 23.

Sentosa Island Lights
Sentosa’s annual Island Lights festival is back, but this time, with the most adorable twist. This year, you’ll be mingling with the characters from Sanrio, from everyone’s favourite Japanese cartoon cat Hello Kitty to Pompompurin, My Melody, and Little Twin Stars.

From Dec. 25, several structures around the marina area will see a projection show as part of the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2021.
The facades of The Fullerton Hotel and Merlion at Marina Bay will light up with artworks on Dec. 25, while another projection show will begin on the facade of the ArtScience Museum on Dec. 26.
