Further investigation led officers to arrest a 14-year-old, who has been charged with second-degree manslaughter, tampering with evidence and being a minor in possession of a handgun, police said. (LEX 18) — An 18-year-old has died Thursday evening following a shooting in Lexington. The Fayette County Coroner s Office says 18-year-old Dominico Cloyd died from a gunshot wound shortly after 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. His manner of death has been ruled a homicide. Sergeant Donnell Gordon with the Lexington Police Department says the shooting happened shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23. Officers were dispatched in the 700 block of N. Upper Street for a shots fired call at that time.
