COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man who barricaded himself inside his home on Oak Street Extension in Winnsboro Friday. Authorities say 55-year-old Jeffery Ross Truesdale has been charged with domestic violence high and aggravated in nature for an incident that occurred on June 18.
On Friday around 5 p.m., deputies say they went to the home and made contact with someone before Truesdale barricaded himself in the home and did not communicate with law enforcement. Deputies say he was brought into custody just before 8 p.m. that night.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. Two murder suspects who had been described as armed and dangerous last week have been arrested, according to the Fairfield County Sheriff s Office.
Deputies say Osman Shabazz, Jr. and Sylvia Bacon-Scott were arrested in Columbia and are being held at the Fairfield County Detention Center awaiting bond.
Shabazz and Bacon-Scott, who were wanted for the murder of Gabriel Brisbon, were said to have a 5-month-old child with them last week. News 19 reached out to the Fairfield County Sheriff s Office Thursday evening about the status of the child. The Sheriff s Office has not yet responded.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man in connection with a murder that took place on August 2, 2020. Deputies say Andrew Marquise Trapp was shot and killed and two others were injured during the shooting on Cole Trestle Road in Blair.

Officials say Sheldon Avery Workman, 19, was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with murder, four counts of attempted murder, two counts of discharging a firearm into a vehicle and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Authorities say this is the third arrest made in connection with this incident.
