This past week, December 14 through December 20, the Columbia Valley RCMP responded to 51 calls for service. The following is a summary of some of the files to which our officers responded.
Abandoned mountain bike turned into detachment
On Tuesday, December 15, an abandoned mountain bike was turned into the Columbia Valley Detachment. The bicycle was found in the 1200 block of 7
th Avenue in Invermere. Anyone missing a bicycle can contact the detachment with a description of his or her bicycle.
Prohibited driver caught behind wheel with no insurance and wrong plate fixed
On Wednesday, December 16, an officer was conducting traffic enforcement in Radium Hot Springs when he observed a Ford Escape with plates that did not match the vehicle.
