PHOENIXVILLE, PA Phoenixville Area School District will receive one-third of the $9.15 million in federal funds going to Pennsylvania s 157th District to help reopen classrooms.
State Rep. Melissa Shusterman (D-157th) announced today that three schools in her legislative district received a total of $9.15 million in federal relief funds, which will help get students back into the classroom full time. Phoenixville Area School District received $3,300,048, Shusterman s office said.

SPRING-FORD, PA Spring-Ford Area School District will receive a hefty share of the $9.15 million in federal funds going to Pennsylvania s 157th District to help reopen classrooms.

ROYERSFORDÂ â Organizations and activists from throughout the region will rally Saturday in support of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who have been victims of discrimination.
Called âBreaking the Silence,â the vigil will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Victory Park, Second Avenue and Arch Street, Royersford. It will feature victims talking about how their experiences affected them. The public is invited.
The event, like several others recently in the region, had been in the planning stages in response to increasing reports of discriminatory or violent incidents targeting Asian Americans during the pandemic. But it gained momentum after the murders of Asian Americans in Atlanta.
